New update not good

I am a grindr plus subscriber and have been for a while, up until today the app has been great, but today something changed.
Now whenever i am scrolling, having a look nearby, and pop into someone’s profile and then back out. The entire page scrambles to people who are miles away, when i click on one of these new profiles i am asked to upgrade to grindr unlimited or when i am scrolling through profiles there is no stop when people are far away, instead when i hit on a profile ,that is apparently now outside of my subscription limit without any warning of such, i get a advert for grindr unlimited.
there are now ads for grindr unlimited. Part of going to grindr plus was a ad free service, now there is a bar at the bottom of my screen advertising grindr unlimited.
Very disappointed with the new update. I do not want to pay that much for grindr unlimited, i am happy with grindr plus. i now feel you are trying to shoehorn your already paying customers into paying more, i do not like these tactics and ask you return the app to the way it was. It is very annoying as a already paying customer to keep receiving ads like this.

We have already released another update that we hope will clear up some of the issues that popped up with the most recent one.
The scroll asking about Grindr Unlimited would only pop up after you have seen 600 profiles since you are Grindr XTRA user. It is not meant to harass you, it is meant to let you know what other benefits there are beyond your current plan.
We will take what you have written into consideration and, again, thank you for taking the time to write to us and for being part of our community.

Grindr for the most part is disappointing!

Grindr reviews pics and reject images that are not nude. We all use it because there is nothing better! As for the rest it is what it is! Certainly only a 1 star for the service it provides - customer service is poor. Slightly better than scruff’s customer service! A worthy 1 star! It is also incredibly expensive - it is more expensive that WiFi, your TV license and many other items. There is no video section. Location is not accurate and apparently I live in the middle of a river when I try to send location. It is a hook up app that has tried to become a dating app and as such it is neither. It should go back to being what it was originally a hook up app! It has lost its identity which is probably why fabguys is taking over!
